Wasn’t What I Was Expecting || Tony & Betty
“Sir. There has been a spike of gamma radiation coming from the basement. The source seems to have made it’s way out of the dorm building.”
“Oh fuck.” Tony dropped his micro screwdriver into his toolbox and grabbed his shoes. Bruce. It must be Bruce again. And with Betty no longer available, well, Tony had taken it upon himself to calm the big lug down when things got out of control. He hopped down the hallway as he put on his shoes and made it into the elevator. He texted Loki, letting him know that there was an incident with Bruce, and ran out onto the roof. The platform he’d attached to the Dracton dorm’s roof was revved up and ready.
Tony stepped on the platform and held out his arms as robotic limbs began to assemble the suit on him. The helmet soon shut with a clang over his face and the HUD lit up. “Alright, JARVIS. Tell me where he is.” No sooner than the words had left his mouth that a map of Sky High came up and a small red blip began to pulse gently on the south side of the campus.
“Sir, I feel like I should tell you that-“
“No time, JARVIS.” Tony blasted off from the roof and headed straight for the blip.
“But, Sir.”
“It’s not like it’s anything different. It’s Bruce. Big hulking mass of green muscle and actually a giant teddy bear once we get over the angry rage part.” Tony heard the roar that definitely wasn’t human or animal… but it sounded different from Hulk.
“That’s the thing, Sir. It’s not green. I don’t think it’s a man either. It… Well, it resembles a woman and it’s-“
“It’s red.” Tony flew above the blip and looked down to see the Red She Hulk. And she wasn’t in the best of moods.
